Their combination of passion, academic performance and focus ensures that every client has access to a tutor who teaches well and understands the important subtleties of the subject matter that they tutor. Whether your aim is to achieve your ultimate academic goals or to simply improve your academic performance, with our team of highly performing tutors, we have the facilities and personnel to assist you. Our tutor recruitment process All tutors that wish to become apart of our organization undergo a lengthy but necessary application process. This process begins with a screening of each applicant's marks to ensure that all applicants to be interviewed meet the required average of 70% + for modules/subjects they wish to tutor. A personal interview is then conducted with each tutor where he/she is requested to explain concepts in order to reveal his/her ability to communicate and teach. Only the most promising application are selected from these interviews. These new candidates then undergo a training session where they are equipped with all the required skills and study materials necessary for the specific modules they wish to tutor. |
It is the desire of Turning Point Tutors to become one of the leading tuition service providers in major Universities and high schools of South Africa, and in doing so, play an important role in improving the educational outlook for the youth of South Africa.
This is to be achieved through offering academic assistance that compliments educators and the institutions they form a part of. |
