Amanuensis refers to the assisting of a student/person in an examination not with answers but rather in helping him/her express the answers to the questions asked in a proper manner. The students that we assist in the Amanuensis project suffer from some learning disability which prevents them from functioning at their optimal capacity without the help from an Amanuencee. The impact that we make when we assist in this project is that we help students who cannot write their answers or cannot read the questions that are asked in their examinations, By helping them to do the above we are helping them to reach the goals of passing or excelling in their grade which would not be possible if Amanuenses were not available.
Thirteen tutors participated in the Amanuensis project. The Amanuensis takes place at Cedarwood high school in Midrand. For those tutors who have their own transport we request that you indicate it in the form available online so that we can group tutors who do not have vehicles to be transported to Cedarwood high school with you.
